CLAUSTRUM

Claustrum was founded in 2004 by industrial designer and architect Takeshi Endo after his studies in both respective fields—the former at Chiba University in 1994 and the latter at the AA School of Architecture in London in 1997.

Prioritizing research, development, and material choice; guided by the feeling of universal honesty and the conscious effort to eliminate what is unnecessary, the aim is towards design in its purest form. Partnered closely with factories throughout Tokyo, our products are assembled and hand-finished at our Ginza studio, which also offers maintenance services for long-term usage.

1994年千葉大学工業意匠学科卒業、1997年文化庁芸術家在外派遣研修員としてのロンドンAAスクール留学を経て、建築士でもある工業デザイナー遠藤健史によってクラウストルムは2004年、東京銀座に設立されました。

研究開発、素材選定を最優先とし、普遍的である事に誠実に、不要なものを取り除くよう意識的に努めることで、最も純粋な形でのデザインを目指しています。東京各地の工場と緊密に連携し、当社の製品は銀座のスタジオで組み立てられ、手作業による仕上げが施されています。また同スタジオでは、長期にわたるご使用のためのメンテナンスサービスも提供しています。

ORDER PROCESS

Once an order is placed and processed through Shopify, we are unable to consolidate separate orders into a one shipment. Each order will be shipped according to the details specified in that individual order. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to issues such as payment errors, product availability, or shipping restrictions. In the event of an order being canceled, the customer will be notified and/or refunded as soon as possible.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND REFUNDS

In the event of any factory faults or defects, we accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of the purchase date. However, we do not accept returns or exchanges for any other reasons.

REPAIRS

All items can be repaired in-house at our Ginza studio. If you have a product you would like repaired, please visit our studio or email us at steel@claustrum.net for more information. Any costs (shipping, duties, etc) incurred during the repair process is the sole responsibility of the customer.

COLOR ACCURACY DISCLAIMER

While we strive to provide accurate representations of our products through the assets on our website, the actual colors and finishes may vary due to the hand-finished nature of our products and other factors, including but not limited to lighting conditions, monitor settings, and factory finishing. By purchasing from our website, you acknowledge and accept that slight variations in the product you receive may occur.

ご注文手続き

別々のご注文を一つの配送にまとめることはできません。各ご注文は、それぞれの詳細に基づいて個別に発送されます。お支払いエラー、在庫状況、配送制限などの理由によりご注文をキャンセルする場合がございます。ご注文がキャンセルされた場合は、お客様に速やかに通知および返金いたします。

返品、交換、および返金

製品に製造上の欠陥がある場合、ご購入日から14日以内であれば返品および交換を承ります。ただし、それ以外の理由による返品や交換はお受けできませんのでご了承ください。

修理

すべての製品は銀座のスタジオで修理が可能です。修理をご希望の場合は、スタジオへお越しいただくか、steel@claustrum.netまでご連絡ください。修理過程で発生する費用（送料、関税等）はお客様のご負担となりますので、ご了承ください。

色再現性に関する免責事項

当ウェブサイトでは、製品の正確な再現を心がけておりますが、製品の実際の色や仕上がりが異なる場合がございます。手作業による仕上げや、照明条件、モニター設定、工場での仕上げ工程などの要因によるものです。実際の製品と若干の違いが生じる可能性があることをご了承ください。
