Designed in 2015 by Takeshi Endo, LGCS was carefully engineered with weight and dimensions in mind, optimized to meet airline carry-on requirements, allowing two tables to travel with you while still retaining a rigid durability. Field-tested during Claustrum exhibitions in Paris and Japan, LGCS functioned both as a standing desk and a display table.
The legs are stored within the table top for transport, making it compact and easy to carry. Through multiple refinements, the design allows for assembly in just five minutes, secured with only four 25mm bolts. The bolts are stored within the thread holes, and the hex key used to fasten the bolts is magnetically stored on the top edge of the right leg, removing the need to carry the tools separately.
With one closed end and one open end, the table provides simple yet practical storage for POS systems, small inventory, or documents, while keeping them accessible. Along the joint between tabletop and legs, discreet cable feed holes enable a clean setup for chargers or extension cords.
